Yoon Ji-ah passes away
Yoon Ji-ah was a famous Korean TikTok influencer and aspiring actress who was found dead on September 13. Her dead body was found in a mountainous area of Muju County, in North Jeolla Province. According to investigators, her body showed multiple bruises and clear signs of strangulation. Police have now identified the main suspect as Choi, who is a man in his 50s, and had reportedly posed as a wealthy IT CEO to enter into a contract with her.
After Yoon discovered his financial troubles, he tried to end the partnership, which ended in Choi assaulting and killing her on September 11 after her final livestream. Choi then transported her body to Muju County and abandoned it, but police have since arrested him on September 13 after tracing his car. Chi eventually confessed to committing the crime to the authorities.
Choi was ranked 46 out of 50 top TikTok donors.
