Within hours of the video going viral, the rumors of his death spread like wildfire, leaving fans confused and worried. However, upon further investigations, the claims were proven completely false, and that Thomas is alive and active online.
The viral clip is reportedly an old video and has nothing to do with Kyle Thomas. In reality, the incident in the video took place in 2022 in Tenkasi district, Tamil Nadu, India, when a sloth bear attacked a man in a forested area. Some internet users falsely linked the footage to the 21-year-old influencer and sparked death rumors, but Thomas has continued to post regularly on his social media and debunked the hoax.

Kyle Thomas is a popular TikTok influencer who was born in Kent, England, and later moved permanently to Belfast, Northern Ireland. He was born in 2004, and he is currently 21 years old as of 2025. Thomas started out his online journey at the age of just 15, when he began experimenting with short-form videos. Most of his early content featured food reviews, lip-syncs, comedy skits, and glimpses of his daily life. He has since found his niche through his love for animals and unique pet content.

Kyle Thomas gained fame after he started showcasing his pets, owning around 25 animals at one point of time. Over time, his animal-themed videos eventually went viral among viewers, and he eventually established as one of the UK’s most popular TikTok creators. He currently has over 1.3 million Instagram followers and nearly 35 million followers on TikTok.
Kyle also works as an ambassador for Jimmy’s Farm & Wildlife Park and the Jane Goodall Institute UK. He has previously appeared in two BBC documentaries with his mother—The Exotic Pet Crisis: Truth Behind The TikTok Stars (2023) and We Build a Zoo (2024).
