Kayla Hevey is an American journalist who is currently working as an anchor and reporter for both FOX22 and ABC7 since June 2019.

Following her education, she graduated from Quinnipiac University where she majored in broadcast journalism. While at the university, she was a member of the school’s student-run television station, Q30 Television, covering local and entertainment as an executive producer and host of a lifestyle show. In addition, she gained experience interning at several news stations across Connecticut.

Originally from Suma, Connecticut, Kayla’s best memories are visiting the southern coast with her family in York. Following this, she is excited to start her career in Bangor while getting the chance to explore other parts of the state. While off her duties, she likes trying new restaurants and reading books.
