Eddie Murphy’s granddaughter, Evie Isla, enjoyed a grand birthday with her family and friends. The little one’s parents, Carly Olivia and Myles Mitchell Murphy, gave her a party to remember this past weekend.
“Happy Third Birthday to our sweet baby girl Evie Isla,” Carly Olivia wrote to her daughter online. “You continue to be the most bright light in all of our lives,” the doting mom shared with her little one. “I will forever and always thank God for blessing us with our beautiful, healthy, happy girl. I love you sooooo much tink.”
Carly Olivia made her mom and dad parents for the first time on July 2, 2019. The little one’s grandmother, Niki Murphy, has been the doting grandma ever since.
“I am a mother and I am [a] new grandmother,” Niki said during an interview in 2020. The fitness guru went on to stress the importance of healthy living. “My fitness journey is quite interesting,” Murphy shared with the press. “Of course, I have five children,” she added.
“I would say the first two children that I had, I did not take fitness seriously,” Niki admitted. “I had the baby and went back into shape, I was fine. But then I started noticing the little changes in my body. My body wasn’t as firm, the muscles were a little soft … I didn’t like that feeling.”
Niki Murphy got on a fitness routine several years ago that has kept her youthful to date. “I think that’s pretty cool that I don’t look like the average grandma,” Murphy shared. “I do,” she continued. “That’s why I think fitness is so important because I want to stay healthy. I want to be able to run with my grandbaby now and don’t be out of breath trying to chase her.”
Evie Isla is Niki Murphy and Eddie Murphy’s only granddaughter.
