Following the eye surgery, Duncan went home, and her family eye doctor from when she was 10 said, “Honey, there is something going on behind her eye.” Moreover, It started to protrude, so she did some eye tests afterward.

Before the days of CT scans and MRIs, doctors took the top of Duncan’s head off for 10 hours and found a big tumor attached to the orbit of her left eye. They took the tumor and orbited out, and that’s how she lost her left vision of her left eye.
