Roland Powell, best known by his stage name Lil Duval, was taken to the hospital on July 26 after being hit by a car while operating an all-terrain vehicle in the Bahamas. He was engaged in a collision that left him with a broken hip and minor wounds, and was then taken to the capital of the Bahamas for medical attention.
Duval said in an Instagram video he released on Tuesday that he had been hit by a car while riding a four-wheeler. In the video, he is strapped to a gurney and being taken to an ambulance while wearing gauze bandages on his body and forehead. “Now my leg fractured and I need go flown over to Nassau and have surgery,” he added in his post.

He updated his admirers on Twitter in a different post on his condition, letting them know that he is in pain and unable to return calls and messages. He wrote in the Instagram post’s caption, “Snoop Dogg replied to his Instagram post, “Damn coz u good? Broke my hip not my leg and that’s even worse but I’m still chillin tho can’t nobody steal my joy.”
Additionally, Duval’s agent provided TMZ with a statement “When Lil Duval was riding a 4-wheeler and a car collided with him, it caused a traffic accident that left him with a broken hip and other minor wounds. He is being transported from Nassau to Jacksonville, Florida, in stable condition, to be treated at a nearby facility that has the capability and tools to do the necessary surgical procedures for recovery.”
Fans shared their support and relief as Duval continues to remain strong by tweeting, “I ain’t have no internal bleeding, the doctor said it unbelievable being that I got hit by a car going full speed.” “I’m relieved that you can type and make sense.
