American actress Selma Blair joined the hosts of The View today to talk about her new memoir Mean Baby: A Memoir Of Growing Up – the book covers such topics as Blair’s illness, multiple sclerosis. But viewers may be curious about one or two other things: Is Selma Blair married, who is her former husband Ahmet Zappa, and does she have children?
Is Selma Blair married?
No, she’s not. Selma Blair and actor-writer Ahmet Zappa were married for two years, but she filed for divorce in June 2006.
They married in what Entertainment Online called a “traditional Jewish ceremony” on 24 June 2004. Their wedding took place at Carrie Fisher’s Beverly Hills mansion. They had been together for six months.
TODAY reported at the time that Blair, then 34 years old, had filed her petition Wednesday, 21 June 2006 in Superior Court. She cited irreconcilable differences.

Zappa was 32 at the time – he’s the son of late musician Frank Zappa. He’s now 48; she’s a year older.
Did they have kids?
No, Selma Blair and former husband Ahmet Zappa didn’t have children. However, Blair does have one child.
After her and Zappa’s divorce, Selma Blair dated her Kath And Kim co-star Mikey Day. They were together for two years. Then, in 2010, she began dating Jason Bleick.

“It happened so randomly that it’s a miracle it happened at all.” She posted on Instagram about the pain she was experiencing, and her friend, actress Elizabeth Berkley, told her she should see a spinal neurologist.
Tests revealed that she had “a number of midsized MS-related lesions” on her brain. Six were problematic.
“When Dr Berkley said the words, ‘You have MS’,” she writes, “I felt an adrenaline rush of emotion. It felt like giving birth. The release of it.”
