Sara Rivers and her husband, Fashun Rivers, are expecting baby number two! Sara recently expressed excitement about her family’s expansion while also celebrating their son Fashun Jr.’s first birthday.
“Sometimes it’s the journey that teaches you a lot about your destination,” Sara told Ice Cream Convos in an exclusive statement. “My journey has been long and at times despairing and discouraging,” Rivers continued. “But the destination was so great it made it worthwhile.”
This year marked the second since Sara and Fashun tied the matrimonial knot. The couple wed in February 2020 and welcomed their son a year later on July 15, 2021. Sara gushed over pregnancy number two during her recent statement to Ice Cream Convos.
“I am overjoyed to share with the world that my husband, Fashun, and I are expecting a new addition to our family,” Sara shared with the media source. “Now my baby boy Fashun Jr. will have a playmate and best friend,” Rivers exclaimed. “It is amazing that at 45 God is still blessing me,” Sara shared. “I never imagined that the second half of my life would be so exciting!”
Sara is enjoying love a second time around after a relationship that ended in the spotlight. “Everyone saw how my last relationship went,” Sara recently told SHEEN magazine. “I fell in love with Fashun after getting to know his heart first,” Rivers shared. “We have so much in common it was like looking in the mirror at myself,” she exclaimed.
“We finished each other’s sentences, [and] would say the same things in unison. But most importantly, he saw so much more in me than I even did. He wants me to win and is patient with understanding the trials and tribulations I went through in my life. I can honestly say, I met my Soulmate. God is so AWESOME!”
