Deyjah Harris celebrated her twenty-first birthday last week. The young adult’s stepmom, Tiny Harris, took to Instagram with a birthday message. T.I. did not give his daughter a public birthday message, which angered a few fans and critics.
Deyjah was born on June 17, 2001. She is the only child T.I. has with R&B singer, Ms. Niko. Deyjah began using her platform to inspire others at 17-years-old after battling with mental illness during her childhood. The young adult has also showcased her modeling abilities on Instagram, which has led to several partnerships.
“Happy birthday to my beautiful, beautiful daughter @deyjahimani,” Tiny Harris wrote to her stepdaughter last Friday (Jun. 17). “She’s officially legal today,” Tiny told her social media fans. “Deyjah, I love you for so many reasons and I wouldn’t change our relationship for nothing,” the celebrity mom wrote to her stepdaughter.
“My sweet, loving, difficult Gemini,” Tiny continued. “I hope you have the most amazing day. You deserve everything great this life has to offer.”
Many fans loved the birthday message Tiny gave Deyjah. “I’m really having a moment today about The Harris family,” one loyal fan said. “I feel like we family, man,” the supporter continued. “These kids [are] grown now,” the social media follower declared. Another Instagram fan said Deyjah was “truly in a class of her own!”
A few criticized T.I. for not giving his daughter a birthday message on Instagram. T.I. was quick to respond to the scrutiny.
“Insiders have all of the information, they have all of the capabilities to reach out and talk to motherf—rs personally, and actually have a relationship outside of the internet,” T.I. shared in an Instagram Live post. “My daughter know (sic) I love her. My daughter know (sic) I talk to her. My daughter know (sic),” the celebrity father shared.
“Mind your motherf—in’ business. Mind your business,” T.I. added. “My daughter [is] one of the realest people I’ve ever met in my life, and she ain’t impressed by no internet display.”
Deyjah Harris is one of seven kids T.I. fathers alongside Tiny.
