Robyn was sentenced to 25 years in jail for her involvement in Wayne’s murder. Torsten and John received hefty prison sentences as punishment for their crimes. They each accepted responsibility for the murder.

Robyn was put on trial for George’s murder when the police reopened their inquiry into the incident. Numerous witnesses’ testimony that supported her admission to killing George was refuted by the defence. She categorically denied being involved.

Robyn Lindholm, 49, presented her case before the Court of Appeal in an effort to overturn her conviction for the murder of George Templeton, who was killed by her lover Wayne Amey, whom she later killed.

In addition to a 25-year sentence for the murder of Mr. Amey, Lindholm was given a sentence of 28 years in prison for the death of Mr. Templeton.

However, Lindholm’s legal tactic was rejected by today’s decision by Justices Terry Forrest, Emilios Kyrou, and Phillip Priest, ordering her to execute the original sentences she was given.

At Lindholm’s murder trial this year, the jury learned that Mr. Templeton died after being served a “hearty” lunch of steak and pepper sauce and shots of Greek brandy. The jury also learned that Lindholm had gone to a friend’s house after dinner to give herself an alibi while Amey carried out her instructions.

Police conducted a televised press conference a week later to solicit assistance in locating the missing man. When the cameras started rolling, Lindholm smiled and seemed at comfortable, but as soon as they did, she turned into “the unhappy girlfriend.”

In May 2005, George received his prisoner release. On the second of the same month, he and Robyn and a friend had been drinking heavily. Around midnight, Robyn left with the friend, but when she came back, she found that George had left and the front door was still open.
