J.T. Realmuto

Jacob Tyler Realmuto is a catcher in Major League Baseball for the Philadelphia Phillies. He was born on March 18, 1991. He played in Major League Baseball for the Miami Marlins from 2014 to 2018.

Realmuto was born in the town of Del City, Oklahoma, to a family of athletes. He played baseball, gridiron football, and other sports as he grew up. He helped Carl Albert High School win state championships in both baseball and gridiron football.

His dad played college baseball for Southwest Missouri State, and his older sisters Ryan and Amanda played college softball as catchers for Oklahoma State and Northwestern State, respectively.

Also, Realmuto’s uncle, John Smith, was a two-time Olympic gold medal-winning wrestler.
