Investigators believe that Nwobodo murdered and dismembered Feclia Johnson after luring her to his apartment

Nwobodo allegedly murdered and dismembered Johnson after luring her to his Houston home from her California home by promising her $500, the Daily Mail reported.

They were reportedly communicating on Snapchat and Johnson was in town for an audition at a strip club.

Police reportedly found a gun, latex gloves, a large kitchen knife, and a shovel, in Nwobodo’s possession.

Investigators also allegedly discovered a “strong match” to Johnson’s DNA in Nwobodo’s apartment, according to court documents obtained by KHOU 11.

Blood was found throughout his car and apartment, reports say.

Multiple Google searches were allegedly performed by Nwobodo.

These included: “how does one plan a murder without getting caught” and “most forested part of Houston,” according to court documents.

Johnson was reported missing from her hotel after her family found her phone covered in blood off the roadway near Bear Creek Pioneers Park in Texas.

Police believe this is where Nwobodo dumped Johnson’s remains, according to reports.

Johnson likely left her hotel via an Uber on April 16, according to the police.

Police say Nwobodo then picked Johnson up from an apartment complex.

Detectives found that evidence suggests he killed Johnson inside his apartment and dumped her body a few days later.

Her remains have not been recovered.

MYSTERY REMAINS

KHOU reports  Nwobodo received treatment at Clinic for a cut on his hand, which he says he got from trying to open a box.

The court documents reveal that on April 20, someone connected to Nwobodo’s gmail account searched if bleach and vinegar could remove DNA.

On April 27, the same account searched how to permanently delete your search history, and the following day, documents reveal, the same account searched how to get away with murder.

DISTURBING FIND

About a week later,  the account searched if police could check a missing person’s phone records.

Nwobodo was arrested and released during a traffic stop on May 14 – and police seized his phone at the stop.

Documents say his phone has a picture of a dismembered woman in and three photos of dead bodies.

The deceased victims were not identified.
