Texas police are searching for a Katy mother who disappeared Tuesday while out on a walk.

According to Texas Equusearch, Sherry Noppe, 63, was last seen in Katy on Tuesday close to the 1800 block of Sparrows Ridge. Family members said she was taking a walk with her black Lab, Max, and never returned home.

“She’s got an early to mild set of Alzheimer’s, Dementia. She’s probably lost, probably confused [and] doesn’t know where she’s at. I’m sure she’s scared, been outside all night,” her son, Justin Noppe, told ABC 13.

“You can get lost back there at George Bush Park if you go off the beaten trail. But she knows better not to and with what she was wearing, denim shorts a white t-shirt, and just white tennis shoes, she would have gotten bit by a snake.”

Anyone with information about Noppe is urged to contact the Harris County Sheriff’s Office at 713-755-7427 or Texas EquuSearch at 281-309-9500.
