TV Springwatch star Lucy Hodson has told of flasher hell as she was birdwatching.
She said the perv filmed her before she alerted passers-by and called cops.
Lucy, 30, was alone watching an egret and said: “A man opposite me on the river was exposing himself.
“I was shocked and terrified. I always thought I’d cope in that scenario, but I just froze.
“Mostly because he was filming me. All I could think was that my video was going to end up on some weird forum.
“But I berated myself afterwards for not calling him out.
“A women was approaching his direction with a little girl, so I shouted to go a different way.
“I felt it necessary to call police as was a public place.
“But the description of a white man in his 30s or 40s in dark clothes doesn’t get very far.”
The fiend struck in Tamworth, Staffs, last year.
Lucy has since used her Radio 4 show Clipped Wings to campaign for a safer countryside for women.
She said: “Flashing is sexual assault. I may not have been physically hurt but it affected me mentally.
“When I was walking home I saw a man on the footpath and was scared.

“Then I realised it was my colleague’s husband. I was a crying mess and told him what happened.
“I’m still shaken. I spend as much time outside as I can, mostly on my own, but I’m constantly assessing that risk.”
