Dwayne Johnson’s career change from professional wrestler to actor has been a smooth transition. He’s starred in several popular films such as “The Jungle Cruise” and “Jumanji,” just to name a few (via IMDb).
After finding success as an actor in the industry, Johnson turned to television to create “Young Rock.” The sitcom is based on his childhood and has become wildly popular since debuting in 2021. According to The Wrap, the NBC comedy had a historic debut with impressive streaming numbers.
With such a successful first few seasons, it is no surprise that Johnson recently announced that the show got picked up for a third season.
The excited star took to Instagram to share the big news. “Big news for our @NBC’s YOUNG ROCK as we announced our return for SEASON 3,” he wrote. “Congratulations to the ones who make it all happen — our hard-working and insanely talented CAST & CREW.” Johnson ended the post by thanking his fans and noting that they were getting to work on the third season now!
