Netflix will debut a new animated Transformers series based on the popular Hasbro toy line on Friday. Botbots are small, colourful robots that can transform into everyday things, and now they have their own animated television show on Netflix called Transformers: Botbots.
Hundreds of random things are altered after an Energon bomb hits a shopping mall. Except for “The Lost Bots,” a collection of items-turned-robots stuck in the lost and found after the Energon blast happened, the newly-animated Botbots team up according to type in different regions of the mall. Now those toys and things must figure out where they belong.
Although no casting details for the series have been released, we have all the details you’ll need to watch Transformers: Botbots on Netflix when season 1 starts on Friday, March 25.
This show will join the Transformers: War for Cybertron series, which is now airing on Netflix. Hasbro Studios, Bardel Entertainment, Boat Rocker Studios, and Entertainment One are producing Transformers: Botbots, which will be distributed on Netflix.

Netflix has provided the following official synopsis:
BotBots are Transformer robots that take on the appearance of regular mall items. During the day, these BotBots might be found hiding on store shelves. However, at night, they embark on an adventure until a gang of BotBots known as ‘The Lost Bots’ collide with a mall security guard, putting all of the bots in jeopardy. Will these outcasts be able to put their differences aside, overpower the security guard, and achieve acceptance from the other bots?

The series consists of ten episodes in total. Given that it’s an animated show geared at a younger audience, we should expect episodes to last no more than 20 to 25 minutes.

For mild fear, the comedy series is classified TV-Y. The series is intended to appeal to children of all ages.
