Although “The Young and the Restless” Abby Newman tried to set Stitch Rayburn up with her mother, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson), he ended up falling for Abby’s half-sister, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), when she treated her young son, Johnny. With Victoria on the outs with her husband Billy Abbott (then played by Burgess Jenkins), she decided to date Stitch but was surprised to learn she was pregnant. Ultimately, the little girl that Victoria named Katie turned out to be Billy’s and she and Stitch called it quits.
When a saddened Stitch got drunk one night, it was Ashley who took care of him and got him sober. The two then ended up having a one-night stand, but he also grew close to Ashley’s daughter, Abby, and the two started to officially date (via Soaps In Depth).
Unfortunately, Stitch found himself torn between mother and daughter, despite having proposed to Abby. Even Ashley would watch them with jealousy and told her daughter she might have been rushing into things way too fast (via CBS.com).
