20-Year-Old Austin Dean Dies Following Devastating Car Collision

The tragic accident that claimed the life of Austin Dean occurred near North Attleboro, and investigations later revealed more victims in the case.

Police reports suggest that the 20-year-old was traveling in the busy area of 777 Putnam Pike when the unfortunate incident happened. Dean had crashed his vehicle into another car, causing a traffic blockage.

Moreover, the vehicles were in a dire state as emergency highway patrol pulled Dean and others away from the scene.

The student had suffered life-threatening injuries, and officials transported him to the emergency center at the Rhode Island Hospital. Sadly, Dean didn’t last long and took his last breath in the facility.

Later, the investigation revealed that Dean’s car had drifted away from the path and crashed into an oncoming vehicle. The other vehicle included an adult driver and a juvenile passenger.

Despite concerns for all parties involved in the accident, authorities have yet to release details about victims other than Dean.

Additionally, the victims had been transported to the same hospital, whereas the child was admitted to the Hasbro Children’s Hospital. Police assured that the case is under investigation to determine the actual cause.

The accident occurred around 5:35 pm, so officials expect witnesses to come forward and provide some clues for the investigation. They have considered speeding to be one of the primary causes.

Given his involvement in school football and wrestling teams, Austin Dean was a celebrated student at North Attleboro High School.

Moreover, the deceased graduated as a Class of 2023 with honors in the wrestling team. His dedication and discipline in the sport made him stand out, and he earned respect from fellow students and coaches.

After Dean’s passing, the Gideon Gaudette shared their memory with the talented student. They wrote, “I remember him as a friendly and kind young man. My deepest condolences to his family, friends, and staff members who had an impact on his life.

Similarly, many young students trained under his leadership as Dean had been promoted to co-captain. The student had led a team to the local wrestling championship earlier in 2024.

Recently, Dean started attending the gym and maintaining proper weights for championships. He had previously participated in 160-pound duels with opponents like Jaheim Gibson and John Hunter Bamvakais.

He had an overall win record of 6 out of 15 matches played. His passing has left a mark on the FLOWrestling scene as they have made his match videos public.

Now, many of his well-wishers have sent heartwarming texts to his family in hopes to console them during this hardship.
