Andie MacDowell, Patrick Gibson and Rain Spencer star in the new film Good Girl Jane.

The coming-of-age drama, which saw production halted in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, finally made its long-awaited world premiere at the Tribeca Festival in New York City on Saturday, June 11.

And as veteran of the ensemble cast, which garnered a ‘superbly acted’ review on the festival’s website, MacDowell stunned on the red carpet with both her fashion sense and infectious smile.

MacDowell, 64, stepped out in front of photographers in a striking emerald green dress with a plunging neckline.

The design made the top portion look like a double-breasted coat, complete with buttons, side pockets and the impression of lapels.

The sleeveless number, which fell to just below her knees, was paired-up with black open-toe heels, which added a lift to her statuesque 5ft8in figure.

Rounding out her overall look, the South Carolina native wore her salt-and-pepper tresses long, just past her shoulders, with plenty of her natural curls.

In her directorial debut, Sarah Elizabeth Mintz wrote the screenplay that follows teenager Jane (Rain Spencer) as she struggles to fit in in her new high school, amid the fallout of her parent’s recent divorce.

Failing to find intimacy in her broken home, the ‘lonely young girl falls hard for a charming drug dealer and becomes entangled in his meth ring run by Los Angeles teens,’ according to IMDb.

‘Drug abuse and depression are afflictions stigmatized by society due to misconception, fear and shame,’ Mintz told The Hollywood Reporter, adding, ‘As a person who has struggled through these experiences, and grown stronger despite them, I am committed to telling a story which sheds light on the overwhelming reality of our “sadness epidemic.”‘

Decked out in stylish back bustier and matching pants, Mintz would join MacDowell for a round of photos on the red carpet.

She also wore black open-toe heels, and had her dark brown locks styled long, straight, with a part on the left.

The pair would also share the spotlight of the red carpet with Gibson, in a black pinstripe suit, and Spencer, who opted for a sheer floral dress.

Having had a career that spans nearly four decades, MacDowell appeared to be the center of attention with the cast and crew.

Eloisa Huggins would also join the Sex, Lies, And Videotape star on the red carpet in a purple minidress and platform heels.

Looking youthful in the ensemble, Huggins had her long brown tresses styled into a large top bun, with a center part, and strands of hair dangling around the frame of her face.

The actress, 21, has been around acting all of her life, being that her mother is Carlito’s Way star Penelope Ann Miller and her father is James Patrick Huggins, who’s best know for his role in film Carry Me Home (2004).
