A CAFE has been blasted for charging over £10 for a single posh coffee and biscuit.
One diner compared the Bristol Museum café prices to being “mugged off” after spotting a Baileys latte alone would set him back £7.45.

A chocolate chip cookie added an extra £3.15, meaning customers would have to fork out a whopping £10.60 for a coffee and snack.
And when it came to cakes and pastries, chocolate brownies were priced at £3.15 while a plain croissant cost £2.75.
Anyone in the market for a can of Coca Cola would be charged £2.50, while ‘all natural, low sugar’ options are an eyebrow-raising £5.25 a can.
Meanwhile, a breakfast roll costs £5.95.
In a two star review, Bristol Live’s Mark Taylor wrote: “I didn’t spot the huge donations box at Bristol Museum & Art Gallery until after lunch, which is just as well as my wallet had already been emptied in the overpriced café.
“Had I ordered a chocolate chip cookie (£3.15) and the ‘Baileys latte with cream and chocolate’ at a whopping £7.45 – some supermarkets were selling one litre bottles of Baileys for £9.50 over Christmas – it would have cost me £10.60 for a coffee and biscuit.”

Despite the hair-raising prices, visitors were reportedly queuing at the counter, with the majority of tables full.
Many of the items had even sold out before the end of lunch as staff struggled with demand.
Mark added: “Around us, parents with restless toddlers were tucking into £8.50 falafel, spinach and kale salads, and slabs of £3.15 rocky road cake.”
And when asked by his daughter if they could go into the shop, he said: “No, it’s OK, thanks. I’ve already been mugged once in here, let’s not exit through the gift shop too.”
