Denise Van Outen is prioritising home improvements over marrying her long-term partner Eddie Boxshall this year.
The actress and singer, 47, explained how she would rather get a new garden patio in 2022 than wed commodities trader Eddie, also 47.
Denise, who has appeared with Eddie on Celebrity Gogglebox, insists she is in no hurry to say ‘I do’ as she doesn’t want the hassle of planning her big day during the coronavirus pandemic.

The star told the Mirror: ‘We’ve not really been focusing on organising a wedding because we’ve been trying to get the house finished and get final things done, like a new patio.
‘Besides, you can’t plan for anything at the moment so there’s no rush to do anything.
‘Young people plan weddings because they want to crack on and start a family but that’s not going to happen. It’s not like we are having any more children.’

Denise is already mother to daughter Betsy, 11, who she shares with ex-husband Lee Mead.
Eddie is father to Jordan, 25, and 22-year-old Leah from a previous relationship.
Denise insists she treats her beloved French Bulldogs like her ‘babies’, adding that she doesn’t think she’d be able to cope with another child as she’s found a good work life balance today.

However, the couple previously ‘flirted’ with the idea of expanding their family before going against the idea.
Denise told The Sun earlier last year: ‘We sort of flirted with the idea of it two or three years ago but then realised that we have a really nice life.’
Meanwhile, Denise, who is currently starring in All Star Cabaret at Proud Embankment in London, could have other professional commitments to keep her busy soon.

She recently said she’d be happy to appear on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! if the show returned to the Australian jungle.
The ITV reality series has been filmed at Gwrych Castle in Wales for the last two years after pandemic travel restrictions prevented the cast and crew from jetting Down Under.
Denise told The Sun in 2021: ‘I do get asked to do it but there is no chance I can do it this year because I am at Proud.
‘I will do it at some point. I think I’m A Celebrity for my 50th birthday would be something nice to do.
‘But it has to be Australia for me, not Wales – as much as I love the Welsh. I am a lot more jungle vibes than castle vibes, to be honest.’
