JEFFREY Epstein’s ties to the owner of Victoria’s Secret helped the fallen financier buy infamous properties at a steep discount, reports say.

Les Wexner sold Epstein his private jet, The Lolita Express, and his notorious NYC townhouse before their business relationship abruptly ended after Epstein’s 2008 arrest, according to The New York Times.

The intimate relationship between the two billionaires came to light in 2019 while Epstein awaited sentencing after his arrest.

The New York Times published an investigation that shows how Wexner granted Epstein power of attorney over his fortune and sold him his Upper East Side townhouse and private jet where it was said he molested and trafficked underage girls.

The two business moguls met in 1986, according to the Netflix documentary on Jeffrey Epstein titled Filthy Rich.

In the late 1980s, Wexner reportedly asked Epstein to be his financial adviser and in turn, he became Epstein’s business mentor.

Before the allegations came against Epstein, Wexner counted him as “a most loyal friend,” according to Vanity Fair. He has denied having any idea about the trafficking.

Meanwhile, Epstein would pretend to be a talent scout and approach young women through Victoria’s Secret before sexually assaulting or harassing them.

Underwear model and actress Alicia Arden said she was lured to a hotel in Santa Monica to meet Epstein in 1997 after she was told he worked for Victoria’s Secret.

At the meeting, Epstein told Arden to strip down to her underwear before he groped her.

Former executives with the lingerie firm believe Wexner enabled Epstein’s criminal behavior by offering easier access to properties such as the Manhattan mansion and private plane.

However, the textiles mogul has continued to say he was unaware of Epstein’s criminal activity on the properties.

WEXNER CUTS TIES

Wexner claims to have had no knowledge of Epstein’s predatory behavior toward young girls.

A spokesperson for the billionaire said he was horrified to learn the truth about him and he had “severed ties” long before the 2019 scandal emerged.

Wexner ended his business relationship with Epstein in 2008 approximately 18 months after the sex offender was arrested in Florida for soliciting child prostitutes, The Daily Beast reported.

Epstein was found dead in his prison cell weeks after the Times investigation on their relationship was published.

ANGELS AND DEMONS

This comes as a new Hulu has released a new documentary titled Victoria’s Secret: Angels and Demons that focused on the relationship between Epstein and Wexner.

The documentary lays claim to Wexner’s inner ties to Epstein, with one interviewee claiming, “There wasn’t a part of Wexner’s company that Epstein didn’t have access to.”

Victoria’s Secret: Angels and Demons reveals the extent to which Epstein had access to Wexner’s wealth, cemented by Epstein being granted Power of Attorney.

This enabled Epstein to sign off on checks and make business decisions on behalf of Wexner.

Interview subjects in the documentary expressed their confusion over how Epstein was able to obtain that level of access to Wexner’s finances.

Wexner wrote in a letter to the Wexner Foundation that Epstein had “misappropriated vast sums of money” from him, amounting to $46million, The Daily Beast reported.

In the documentary, Sarah Ellison, a Washington Post reporter, said over the course of Epstein and Wexner’s relationship, she estimates that Wexner had paid Epstein about $400million.

Ellison questioned Wexner’s claims in the film, and asked, “Wexner is known as being litigious, and yet he won’t pursue Epstein for stealing millions upon millions of dollars?”

She continues, “To allow that level of betrayal and dishonesty to happen unpunished is entirely unexplained.”
