A MAN was killed in a mass brawl at a family-run pub.
Two men, 35 and 46, were arrested following the incident.
Police are treating it as a murder after the altercation at Withernsea pub in East Yorkshire last night.
The Pier Hotel Withernsea wrote: “We will be shut today. And unable to say when we will re open.
“Please be aware something did happen and its close to home.”
A spokeswoman for Humberside Police said: “Two men have been arrested following an altercation that resulted in the death of a man at a business in Withernsea yesterday evening, Friday 11 March.
“We were called at around 11.30pm with reports of a physical altercation involving a large group of people at a licensed premises on Seaside Road.
“Emergency services attended and a man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
“His family are aware and are being supported by specially trained officers at this difficult time.”
Police are now appealing for anyone with information to come forward.

The spokeswoman said: “Anyone with information about the incident, that has not already spoken to us, is asked to call our non-emergency 101 line quoting log 594 of 11 March.
“Alternatively, you can report information anonymously via the independent charity Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111.”
