A MUM said she was physically sick after finding what looked like a “cooked spider” in her cheese and onion crisp packet.

She recalled tucking into the Walkers packet when she noticed something “stringy” hanging from one of the crisps.
And on closer inspection, she noticed that the obscurity appeared to be an insect.
The mum of two, from Winson Green, Birmingham, said she was so disgusted that she had to run to the bathroom to vomit.
She has now vowed that she she’ll never eat crisps again after the stomach-churning experience.

Sabrina told Birmingham Live: “I’m still feeling really sick. I really don’t know what is, it looks like a stripped spider that’s been cooked in with the crisps.
“It looked like some kind of string attaching it to the crisp, it was dangling off it. I don’t want to touch it, it’s disgusting.”
The teaching assistant had bought the packet for £1 from her local convenience store and later joked that finding the suspected critter was “karma” for eating crisps for breakfast.
“Every now and again I just fancy a bag of cheese and onion,” she said.

“I was just craving some this morning so I went to the shop and bought some. I know it’s really bad, this is probably karma for having crisps for breakfast.
“I was sat there, eating away and looking on TikTok, and then I picked up another crisp and just happened to look at it. I thought ‘what on Earth is that?’
“I started throwing up, it made my physically sick.”
Sabrina later posted the image of the insect on social media – later issuing a scathing review of Walkers quality control.
She said she has continued to feel ill since the incident and even gags at the mere thought of the discovery.
“People were saying the same thing – that it looked like a spider. I rang Walkers and they asked for the barcode number,” she told the outlet.
“I was hoping for an apology but the person I spoke to didn’t seem that concerned about it. I haven’t heard anything back yet.
“I keep looking at the crisp and gagging. I don’t know if it’s mind over matter but I’ve been sick three times already and I’ve got a belly ache.
“It’s definitely put me off eating crisps for life.”
In a statement, a Walkers spokesman said: “We’re sorry to hear that Sabrina has found something unexpected in her pack.
“We take all complaints very seriously and the safety and quality of our products are our top priorities.
