A FUMING dad has told how his neighbour ate his children’s KFC after it was accidentally delivered to them.
Jason Buckton, 47, had forked out £27 to order the finger lickin’ good chicken from Uber Eats for his hungry family.
But when it finally arrived he realised three boneless pieces were missing – as it had already been scoffed by another family.
Jason told Teesside Live: “The app pinged up, saying give the driver a minute to drop your order off. So I’m watching the camera and there’s nothing there.
“But then another message came up saying ‘grab your order as it’s at the door’ but again there was nothing there.”
He then began contacting the driving – asking where his missing food was.
Jason was eventually told that the driver had delivered the grub to a different address entirely.

He sad: “The driver went back to that address, and brought it back to me.
“The driver said that they’d ordered from Uber Eats before so they’d just assumed it was for them!
“The driver then said they’d opened the package so I should make sure everything was there. I opened it and they’d ate some of the food.”
The dad-of-two added: “I was fuming. Obviously I wasn’t going to touch it,”
Jason was eventually refunded after contacting Uber Eats on the app.
But he is still confused as to how the mix up happened as he had logged his address correctly.
And he is even more puzzled as to why someone would eat food that was clearly not theirs.
Jason took to social media to vent after the incident, claiming the person was “bang out of order” to take his children’s tea which they were “shovelling” in their mouths.
He added: “I’ve had the odd person saying ‘do you want my number, send it my way’ or ‘If it had come to my house I’d have scranned the lot’.”
“But if it had come to my house, I’d have said ‘excuse me, I haven’t ordered that’.”
An Uber Eats spokesperson said: “We are very sorry to hear about this drop-off error, and can confirm that the customer has been refunded in full.”
