REFUGEES claim British volunteers may be holed up in a Ukrainian industrial plant in a “surrender or die” Russian siege.
A woman, named only as Anna, who fled the Azot plant in Severodonetsk said “English speaking” fighters were trapped. She said: “There were lots of mercenaries, speaking English.”
Ex-soldier Jordan Gatley, 24, was shot dead in the city last week. He is the second known Brit fighter killed in Ukraine.
At least three have been captured, including Aiden Aslin and Shaun Pinner who have been sentenced to death.
