WOKE university chiefs say students should not challenge other people’s gender in public loos.
But women have accused them of taking the pee and ignoring their safety.
Signs in Plymouth University’s male and female lavatories urge students not to confront anyone who is believed to be using the wrong sex loo.
Notices state: “Do you think someone is using the ‘wrong’ bathroom?
“Please don’t challenge them, stare at them, insult them. They are using the toilets they feel safe in.
“Do not make them feel uncomfortable, protect them from harm.

“Trans, non-binary and gender-questioning students, you have every right to be here.”
But one angry woman tweeted: “Plymouth Uni don’t seem to care for their female students as shown by this sign that’s meant to gaslight women into silence.
“If you know a woman planning on attending this university, make sure she knows they have given away her rights.”
Another said: “Everyone knows universities are rife with sexual assault and rape so please explain this sign and its dangerous gaslighting.”
And in a post liked 2,500 times, a third tweeted: “What about your responsibility for safeguarding female students?”
