If the issue persists it may be a server issue, and you can check to see whether the TikTok servers are down.

How to fix if your TikTok profile picture is not showing

TikTok profile pictures can be changed as often as you want, and will be displayed on your profile page, as well as next to any posts you share just like on Facebook and Instagram.

But if yours has disappeared, don’t despair, as there are a few different fixes you can try.

Restart the app

Start by restarting the app.

The old “turn it on and off again” technique sounds like an obvious one, but it’s a go-to tech fix for a reason.

Doing so refreshes your phone and you may find that it’s no longer an issue when you re-open it.

Check the servers

If restarting the app didn’t do the trick, you can always check the servers.

Search whether TikTok servers are down online, as you may need to wait until they’re back up.

Update the app

It could be that your app is simply out of date and could do with an update.

Updates often include fixes for known bugs within apps.
