Twitter has reportedly experienced an outage this morning.
Most outages are being flagged from large, urban areas like New York City, Houston and Los Angeles.
84% of reports are from users attempting to log into the Twitter website – just 11% of reported failures are attributed to the app.
Outages were reported on the service monitor Down Detector and it’s currently unclear what is causing the problems.
It could be Twitter servers or it could be the devices people are using to access the site
Meanwhile, Elon Musk’s acquisition deal is on ice as he haggles with Twitter executives over the number of bots on the platform.

Musk, 50, said the deal “cannot move forward” unless the social media giant can prove that less than 5% of users are bot accounts.
