In an interview with All The Smoke, Taylor talked about her approach to journalism and social media. She says that she only talks about topics she knows about, and leaves others to talk about other topics. “I try to be careful about what stories I dig in on. If I’m ignorant on a topic, I might not necessarily give my opinion. Just because everyone is giving their opinion about it. If I don’t feel strongly or compelled about it or I don’t feel fully educated or I’m ignorant about it, I’m a lay out.”
Taylor tells All The Smoke that she is an advocate for diversity in the workplace. “People who don’t like diversity or like the idea of diversity always challenge it as well,” she says. “They, you know, we’re making exceptions for people or this person didn’t earn it. It’s like diversity isn’t just for us. It’s for you.”
