Roma boss Jose Mourinho threatened to walk away from his pre-match press conference as he snapped at reporters, once again.

The 59-year-old Portuguese manager has a strong track record of snapping at reporters for certain questions and did exactly that ahead of Sassuolo clash.

The Special One took exception when he was asked about the squad harmony within the Giallorossi dressing room.

Mourinho was furious with his Roma players after their 2-0 defeat by Inter Milan on Tuesday, lashing out in an fiery dressing-room tirade.

Roma slumped to defeat on The Special One’s return to the San Siro as Edin Dzeko’s early goal and Alexis Sanchez‘s second-half strike knocked Mourinho’s side out of the Coppa Italia.

After crashing out in the quarter-finals, Mourinho was unimpressed with his players’ performance and did not hesitate to let them know.

The Roma boss launched into an explosive rant in the dressing room following the game, demanding to know why his players ‘s*** themselves’, as reported by Corriere dello Sport.

‘I want to know why, playing face to face with Inter, you s*** yourselves in the first 10 minutes,’ he said.

‘And then I want to know why even against Milan you s*** yourselves 10 minutes in! Everyone, no one excluded.

‘I want to know why for two years you have shown yourselves small against the big sides.

Refusing to confirm or deny what he said in the dressing room, he remarked: ‘The players told me they are happy with my working methods.

‘There are no secrets between us, I say things to their face and I invite the players to engage in a dialogue.

‘Everyone told me they don’t want me to change, so I told them I will not change.

‘You talk about it as me letting loose frustration, but do you think I shouldn’t reproach [Roger] Ibanez, [Rick] Karsdorp, [Gianluca] Mancini or [Chris] Smalling?

‘We talked after the game, analysed and worked on those errors. That is how I work.

‘Now ask me questions about Sassuolo or I am leaving.’
