Nick Young is a former NBA player who played for 12 seasons in the league.  Young was drafted in the 2007 draft and he played his college at The University of South Carolina. And once while playing for USC, he stole a couple of items from Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant and he claimed that he admitted it to him later.

Young was part of the University of South Carolina squad from 2004 to 2007. He had a good stint in college as he was selected to the Pac-10 First team twice. And he led them to a Sweet Sixteen appearance in the 2007 NCAA tournament. That team is most known for beating the National Player of the Year, Kevin Durant, and the Texas Longhorns in the second round.

And during the same time, Young stole a few items from Kobe Bryant.

Young and Bryant were teammates during his time at the Lakers. The duo played with each other for three years, and Young had some of his best years at the Lakers. He also said that he took a few items from Kobe’s locker room when he was in college. Young says he stole an arm sleeve and a knee sleeve. He says their college colors were burgundy and gold and he was out there with a purple-colored sleeve.

He admitted that he told Kobe later on. Young says, ” I did, I did… He tried to act like ‘you’re the one that stole my stuff… I was looking for that. Trying to act like they some special arm sleeves”

Swaggy P is most known for his time at the Washington Wizards and the Lakers. He was a great three-point shooter and could create his own shot off the dribble. He also was known to be a great scorer. Young had his best year went Kobe was injured in 2014. He averaged a career-high in points that year as Kobe played only six games.

He got his first and only championship when he went to the Golden State Warriors in 2018. Young does have a contract right now and there are no rumors of him working out for any teams. He will be best known for his time with the Lakers and for stealing from Kobe’s locker.
