The celebrity guests attended the private unveiling of Sassan Behnam-Bakhtiar’s latest work, a 100square-metre mural entitled The Journey.
The lavish event included a private cocktail reception and an exclusive dinner for 140 guests in the Club Dauphin restaurant, where the Mayor of Cap Ferrat made a speech celebrating Behnam-Bakhtiar and his work.
Guests were served a delicious lobster salad with a tomato vinaigrette, roasted veal chop with basil and parmesan risotto, and crispy chocolate tarte with vanilla ice cream.
The meal was followed by the grand unveiling of the mural and a fun-filled party at a private residence, owned by Ali Jassim, just a few minutes away from the hotel.

The Journey is an expansive mural work by the celebrated visionary French-Iranian artist Sassan Behnam-Bakhtiar.
It was painted on the walls and ceilings of a private club space in Jassim’s brand-new 2,000sqm mansion Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat and shows large scale human abstract forms.
Behnam-Bakhtiar received global appraisal from critics during his major solo exhibition with the Setareh Gallery in Dusseldorf, Germany.
It was the first time that Setareh hosted a solo exhibition in three of its galleries simultaneously for any of its represented artists, where a total of 65 paintings were sold prior and during the opening night.
