Abbie Chatfield has confessed she stopped editing her Instagram photos four years ago because it was ‘messing with my head’.
The 26-year-old revealed on her Hit Network radio show last week she decided to quit Photoshopping and Facetuning around 2018.
This was a year before she placed runner-up on The Bachelor and launched her career as an influencer and podcast host.

‘It was messing with my head,’ she said on Hot Nights with Abbie Chatfield.
‘My edited photos would get double the likes so I would feel like the way I saw myself I was only ”good looking” with edited photos,’ she added.
Abbie explained she stopped editing her photos for personal reasons, and not to make some kind of social or political message.

She also suggested that Kim Kardashian, who is known to only share edited photos on Instagram, should hire a professional to Photoshop her images.
‘The [Kardashians] get called out for this [sloppy editing] all the time,’ she said.
‘You have all the money in the world. Please stop it. Surely you can get the best people in the world [to edit photos]?’

Kim, 41, made headlines last week when she rushed to delete a photo from Instagram in which her leg looked obviously edited.
The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star posed in a swimsuit for a gallery of photos taken while on holiday in the Bahamas with SNL comedian Pete Davidson.
However, eagle-eyed followers noticed her back leg appeared distorted in one image, with an unnatural curve behind her knee.
As soon as she started receiving comments about the Photoshop gaffe, Kim wiped the photo from the gallery.
