ALAN Carr’s Epic Gameshow viewers have dubbed the show as “boring” – with many left switching off just minutes into tonight’s episode.
The ITV series has given fans a taste of nostalgia by bringing back retro gameshows.

Tonight saw the version of Michael Aspel’s 1980s game show Child’s Play join the regular line-up.
The popular gameshow which originally ran for five seasons between 1984 and 1988.
Alan introduced four contestants to the show, as they tried to decipher what words are being described by a group of schoolkids – with a £20,000 jackpot up for grabs.
But viewers were not impressed by tonight’s show and were quick to turn off.

One wrote: “Just tuned in and I’m tuning straight back out…..I remember this shit first time around….plus, I come out in hives at the first sight of a kid on the telly! #EpicGameshow”
Another posted: “#ChildsPlay #epicgameshow @EpicGameshow this is woeful….hated it first time round, it’s worse now.”
A third chimed in: “Didn’t remember #ChildsPlay. Didn’t remember the theme tune. And no doubt, it’s a very dull fairly straight quiz. Not an #EpicGameshow at all.”
A fourth echoed: “Christ this is painful to watch. #epicgameshow”

Each show features a different classic gameshow, with Play Your Cards Right, Bullseye and The Price is Right.
The unpopular views follows the news that Alan will be taking a break from showbiz, following the breakdown of his marriage.
The presenter separated from his husband Paul Drayton in January after 13 years together.
Paul and Alan tied the knot in 2018 after 10 years together as a couple – with singer, Adele, involved in the nuptials.

Speaking to Laura Boyd of What’s On Scotland, Alan said: “During Covid, the relationship fell apart, and I was divorced when we came out the other end.”
In January, a spokesman for the former couple said: “After 13 years as a couple and three years of marriage, Alan Carr and Paul Drayton would like to announce they are separating.
“They have jointly and amicably made the difficult decision to divorce and go their separate ways.”
