BGT’s Amanda Holden makes blunder about disabled contestant
BRITAIN’S Got Talent judge Amanda Holden was left red in the face on Sunday night after making a blunder about a disabled contestant.
The TV star was giving her feedback to young comedian Eva Abley after she performed her set during the semi final show.
“Oh my goodness me, every single joke was a banger,” Amanda gushed. “You’ve got funny bones, there’s nothing else to say.”
Going red and trying to rectify the awkward moment, she continued: “You know what I mean, that wasn’t a joke
“You’ve got it in your blood, you are naturally funny. Every single joke was a winner, darling, and every single moment was funny.
“You are so refreshing, so genuine, you’re incredible.”
Despite Amanda trying to rectify the mistake, it was still noted by viewers at home who took to social media to react.
“Amanda has had a nightmare there,” one wrote, as a second chimed in: “Amanda really does say the wrong things all the time.”
“Live TV at its finest… Amanda Holden says to the comedian with cerebral palsy ‘you have funny bones, it’s in your blood’,” a third said.
While a fourth added: “Did Amanda Holden just tell a girl with cerebral palsy that they have funny bones?”
