Netflix‘s controversial new reality show Byron Baes finally premiered this week.
And leading lady Hannah Brauer perfectly captures the new age spirituality and holistic living that has taken over coastal town.
In the first episode of the series, the blonde beauty touted the benefits of ‘sound healing’ at a pool party she was hosting.

‘I’m having my beautiful sound healing lady play a little,’ she told co-stars Elle Watson and Nathan Favro.
‘It’s about music as it changes the molecular cellular levels,’ she explained.
She then said that it was okay to drink alcohol before a sound healing because alcohol ‘doesn’t mix with your cells’, even though it actually does.
Alcohol affects the immune system, which in turn can negatively impact the body’s white blood cells.
‘Hannah does present herself as a spiritual person,’ Elle said in a confessional.
‘While she’s really out there, her “spirituality” is really questionable,’ she added.

In another episode, Hannah took co-star Jade Kevin Foster inside what she claimed was a ‘dragon egg’ that was ‘120 million years old’.
She then said that ‘dragon bones’ have been found in Australia.
While some may find her claims to be outrageous, there’s some evidence to support her.
Last year, Australia’s largest flying reptile, a pterosaur, was discovered in Queensland and likened to a ‘dragon’.

University of Queensland PhD candidate Tim Richards, from the Dinosaur Lab in UQ’s School of Biological Sciences, said in a statement: ‘It’s the closest thing we have to a real-life dragon.
‘The new pterosaur, which we named Thapunngaka shawi, would have been a fearsome beast, with a spear-like mouth and a wingspan around seven metres.’
Viewers have branded Byron Baes ‘awful yet addictive’ following its debut on Wednesday night.
The reality show follows the lives of 14 influencers who help each other grow their businesses, connections and social followings in the idyllic Australian beach town of Byron Bay.

‘Help! I started watching Byron Baes and can’t stop,’ another mused.
Others had more positive feedback, with one user tweeting: ‘We need season two! #ByronBaes’.
Another admitted:’ I am dead set hooked on Byron Baes! I feel like the people who hate watching are too close to the source material,’ another added.
