SINGLE mother Gabby Thomas has relied on some help from village teen Amelia Spencer.
But when the youngster puts little Thomas in danger, social services get involved next week in Emmerdale.

Amelia Spencer (portrayed by Daisy Campbell) has been obsessing over her appearance and has started to take a dangerous weight gain syrup with troubling side effects.
After collapsing in front of some other teens and brushing off concerns, Amelia’s recent habit has a negative impact on her babysitting at Home Farm as she’s set to endanger baby Thomas Tate’s life next week.
The consequences could be heartbreaking for Thomas’ mother Gabby (Rosie Bentham).
The young boy is taken to hospital by a worried Harriet Finch (Katherine Dow Blyton) when a disorientated Amelia tells her Thomas fell from his high chair.

Gabby soon joins them in hospital, leaving Amelia awash with guilt – and she finds out the truth from Lucas Taylor.
While babysitting, Amelia began to feel dizzy and nauseous.
This ultimately led to her fainting as she was holding baby Thomas, dropping him in the process.
Upon finding this out, Kim Tate (Claire King) calls out Amelia for lying and the youngster is met with a barrage of questions about her blackout.

Overwhelmed, Amelia turns to her father-figure Dan Spencer (Liam Fox), telling him she’s been taking a weight gain syrup she bought online.
Amelia agrees to get checked out at the hospital to see if her fainting spells could be caused by an underlying condition.
Once she’s out of sight, Dan gives into his tears.
Over at Home Farm, however, things come to a head for Gabby in the aftermath of baby Thomas’ fall.
The young mother worries about a visit from Social Services who have been made aware of the accident – and her anger towards Amelia for putting her son in danger is very raw.

To make matters worse, Amelia has been paying Noah Dingle visits in prison.
Initially rejected by the perverted teen, Amelia managed to swipe a visit request from Noah which was originally meant for Gabby.
Next week, Dan is also tipped off by Lydia Dingle that Amelia has been seeing someone and the latter is aghast when questions her on her love life, just as her and Noah get closer.
Could her attraction to Noah bring her more trouble?
