BEING held against his will by Meena Jutla has only made Vinny Dingle more determined to fight for justice for Liv Flaherty.
And to stop her from relapsing into alcohol abuse, Bradley Johnson‘s character takes radical action and is even willing to lie to her about her brother Aaron.

Vinny has stopped at nothing to prove Liv (Isobel Steele) was wrongfully accused of Ben Tucker’s murder.
When he realises that the search for serial killer Meena could drag on, meaning that Liv will stay behind bars where she suffered a brutal beating in Monday’s Emmerdale instalment, Vinny takes matters into his own hands.
With the lack of concrete evidence for Liv to be released, Vinny pushes a traumatised Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker) to lie to the police.
A court hearing is held the next day and Liv asks Vinny to warn her estranged half-brother Aaron (first played by Danny Webb from 2003 to 2006 but portrayed by Danny Miller since 2008) about the recent events and the latter obliges.

At Wishing Well cottage, Mandy and Lydia are delighted to find out that Liv may be released from prison but Chas (Lucy Pargeter) brings the joy to an abrupt halt by claiming Aaron will not be coming.
A panicked Vinny is then convinced that Aaron’s absence will only throw Liv back into heavy drinking.
To spare her feelings, a painful relapse and unable to burst her bubble, Vinny lies and tells Liv that Aaron is on his way to her as she packs to go home.
Aaron hasn’t seen his sister since she was arrested for Ben Tucker’s murder.
In December, 2021, Aaron made the decision to leave the Dales, stating he would be staying with Moira’s son Adam Barton (Adam Thomas) to heal from the pain.

The young man turned his back on Liv when, during a conversation which followed a previous hearing, he admitted he didn’t know if he could believe she was innocent of the crime she was accused of.
He drove away from the village after one last chat with Cain Dingle and a wave goodbye from Chas.
Meanwhile, off-screen, actor Danny Miller charmed his way up to victory in the latest series of I’m a Celebrity and has been enjoying some off-the-air time with his fiancée Steph and their baby Albert.
But upon hearing Liv could be innocent, would Aaron backtrack and return to the Dales?
