ONE contestant on George Clarke’s Flipping Fast has left its viewers puzzled after employing a team of builders.
The Channel 4 property show welcomed contestant Harriet from Lancashire, who was eager to transform her first ever home.
She chose to purchase a one-bed apartment in her hometown, and enlisted the help of her family members.
The glamorous twenty-something was slated for “doing nothing” by viewers, but proved the audience wrong.
She was up against couple Pamela and Gordon from Norfolk, who were incredibly eager to make a profit.
However, despite both teams putting in huge efforts, it was Harriet who came out on top.
The young contestant managed a profit of £18,807 for her small apartment, whilst poor Pam and Gordon barely broke even, with a profit of £1,280.
The results shocked everyone, especially Harriet, who broke into tears on the show as she’d seen how hard her opponents had worked.
However, the show’s viewers were adamant they knew exactly how Harriet managed to come out with such a hefty profit.
She had multiple relatives who were professional tradesmen help her with all elements of the house flip, which seemingly helped keep costs down significantly.
It’s unknown how much she paid her relatives, or if she paid them at all, and fans were quick to flag this.

They all headed to Twitter to share their thoughts.
One asked: “So did Harriet’s costs include her relative’s work or did she get it all for free? #flippingfast”
Another said: “Seems a slightly unfair advantage to have a family of builders waiting in the wings, working either free or at mates rates. #FlippingFast“
The comments continued: “#flippingfast clearly is easier if you have a team of builders to do it for nothing.”
As another added: “Fair play to her I say, but the family can’t do everything for free forever, she may as well use her contacts as much as she can #flippingfast“.
