THE Hollywood A-lister has a reported net worth of more than £400million.
But the actor, 61, only takes ethical jobs his lawyer wife Amal signs off on.
George revealed he once turned down £29million for eight hours’ work for an airline linked to a country with a dodgy human rights record.
He said: “I was offered 35million dollars for one day’s work for an airline commercial but I talked to Amal about it and we decided it’s not worth it.”

“I have enough to be comfortable, the rest goes to help people.”
5. LEWIS HAMILTON – £340,909 an hour
THE Formula One ace, 37, signed a two-year deal with Mercedes worth £45million per year.
Last year, he raced in 22 Grands Prix, with driving time averaging six hours per competition – or 132 in total.
He said: “The thing is, I never got into it for money.
“Of course it is great that that piles up. No problem. That is a bonus.”

8. JAMES CORDEN – £96,153 an hour

SINCE signing on for another two seasons of The Late Late Show, the funnyman has been raking it in.
His £15million deal has seen him present 234 of the 40-minute episodes of the US talk show over the past two years.
But the 43-year-old turned down a fresh £40million offer to keep going, having decided to return to Britain later this year.
9. CRISTIANO RONALDO – £15,000 an hour
THE veteran forward, 37, signed a £450,000-a-week contract with Manchester United last year.
Pro footballers work for an average of 30 hours a week including pre-season, training and matches.
He said in 2011: “My son is the most important thing in my life. After that, it’s the football that matters most.
“Money comes after that.”
10. KIM KARDASHIAN – £5,133 an hour
