ADIL Ray took over Good Morning Britain’s hosting duties from Richard Madeley today and yesterday – and viewers love it.
It comes after the TV presenter, 47, stepped in for his co-star yesterday to present alongside Kate Garraway.
Richard, 65, usually only works three days a week, but fans were pleased for the break after a full-on few days which saw him make a series of gaffes.
This morning Adil woke up the nation once again on the ITV show.
Many viewers at home were over the moon to see his face on their screens.
One wrote on Twitter: “Good morning, dream team, Adil Ray of sunshine and Amazing Kate.”
Another said: “Another day with Kate and the lovely Adil Ray, 2 morning’s running. Come on GMB, give Adil the job of main presenter. RM is a big mistake, you are losing viewers by keeping him.”
A third added: “Great to see Adil on GMB this morning.”
Yesterday Adil stepped in for Richard on the breakfast programme.
Taking to Twitter to discuss Richard’s absence, one person said: “Anyone else noticed how much calmer and more intelligent the show is without Madeley? #GMB.”

Another said: “Good to see @adilray back & no Madeley can you keep him off the show permanently please. Thanks.”
Richard usually hosts alongside Susanna Reid, who is currently off for the half-term break.
But this week he joined Kate and raised eyebrows during various interviews.
He was slammed by viewers as he grilled Gogglebox favourite Scarlett Moffat on religion and mocked the number of times she took her driving test.
Unhappy fans also complained he was “continuously talking over” Kate and she was “struggling to get a word in” as they interviewed Welsh veteran Simon Weston.
He also came under fire for telling former England goalkeeper and gambling addict Peter Shilton “you’re on the money”.
And he sparked outrage for questioning why rape is a weapon of war.
ITV‘s morning show has been fronted by Richard and show favourite Susanna Reid, 51, on Mondays to Wednesdays since before Christmas.
He took over the job as the main presenter alongside Susanna after the departure of Piers Morgan, who is about to start a new evening show on talkTV.
The other main presenters on Good Morning Britain are Ben Shephard and Kate Garraway.
