Ethan Browne believes he’s worked out the secret to ratings gold.
The Home and Away star, 29, insists viewership numbers on the soap have gone up every time he has removed his shirt on screen.
‘I’ve figured it out – it’s every time I have to do a topless scene, hey. Ratings just go up,’ he told The Herald Sun on Saturday.

Ethan and his co-star Jacqui Purvis play teh hot new couple in Summer Bay, Tane Parata and Felicity ‘Flick’ Newman.
Jacqui says while the couple have been popular with viewers the characters could have a bumpy road ahead.
‘There will be a challenge that could possibly come between them. So it will be interesting to see how the audience react to that,’ she told the paper.

‘Will they stay together? Will this be something that tears them apart. It is going to be very hot, sexy and a lot of fun,’ the actress added.
Jacqui previously played Melissa Lohan in Neighbours in 2019 for 18 episodes, while Ethan is a newcomer to soaps.
It comes after the actor revealed that he welcomed his daughter Aaylah into the world when he was just 16 years old.

He wished his little girl a happy 13th birthday late last year in a sweet Instagram post alongside a photo of the pair together.
‘My Angel is now a teen Happiest of birthdays my young lady. Everything I do is for you, and I will forever love you and protect you,’ he wrote.
Home and Away will return to Channel Seven in early 2022.
