DANCING On Ice star Kimberly Wyatt has been all smiles as she’s performed on the ice alongside skater Mark Hanretty.
It hasn’t always meant the Pussycat Dolls star has had her claws away – as the singer has had a long-running feud with one of her band mates.
Kimberly, 40, took to the ice for the first time this year as part of the ITV skating competition, seeing the singer out of her comfort zone.
The star has been wowing the judges with her prowess on the ice, alongside professional skating star Mark, 36.
Behind the scenes, her fans may not know about the long-standing feud she has had with X Factor judge Nicole Scherzinger.
The former band mates fell out following the group’s split back in 2009.
Kimberly has since detailed the multiple attempts she has made to try and patch up their broken friendship before finally giving up.
She told the Daily Record: “I’ve not spoken to or seen Nicole in quite some time and that’s not through lack of trying.
“I’ve made enough first moves now that I feel the ball is in her court. I wish Nicole complete happiness. I just hope she is actually happy.”
Speaking of their relationship before the fall out, Kimberly added that it “wasn’t an easy situation to be in” as part of the Pussycat Dolls.
“I have a lot of love for Nicole and if she offered [an olive branch] I would accept it with open arms,” she continued.
“I have a lot of understanding but at the same time I wish we could sort of all get past that and just move on.”
The mother-of-two has admitted that she is “still trying to shed” the Pussycat Dolls image years after it dissolved.
Earlier this week, Kimberly was seen crashing down to the floor as she rehearsed a tricky skating routine ahead of Saturday’s show.
Our exclusive pictures showed the moment Kimberly hit the deck after losing her balance when the inverted splits went wrong.
“This was a lift that I’ve always idolised,” Kimberly told The Sun. “I’ve always been like is there a way that I could do it?”
“We tried it today…..and I didn’t do it!”, she laughed.
Kimberly added: “You’ve really just got to get the timing and everything right, getting into the splits, inverting the splits, trying to get the landing and coming up, so this is my headbanger!”
