TWO and a half years after Sarah Beeny traded London for a former dairy farm, the property expert has turned the cameras on her own home.
The TV star and husband Graham are transforming their Somerset mansion in the second series of New Life In The Country.

The stately home, set on a 223 acre farm, is bursting with character – though there is currently only one bathroom in the period property.
And the couple’s sons Laurie, Charlie, Rafferty and Billy have been busying tiling their new en-suite bedrooms.
The latest episode the family’s Channel 4 show saw the boys helping out with the renovations work, revealing their ‘Gentleman’s club’ and ‘Medieval’ themed rooms.
Rafferty told viewers in the Channel 4 series: “A gentleman’s style bathroom is what I’m going for.”
Meanwhile, Sarah and Graham have installed an outdoor shower, allowing the family to wash after a swim in their garden’s very own huge lake – which has a zipwire.

Speaking about the challenging project, Graham said: “Every morning when I look at all of these vans I kind of go, ‘every one of these vans is a day rate, is a person and money going out’.
“So while we are progressing quickly, it is quite expensive, almost best not to think about it.”
Some fans have dubbed the show “tasteless” for its excessive renovation during a global pandemic.
One viewer even said that the renovation of her £500,000 home was a “middle class monster.”
During the opening episode last month, Graham and the pair’s four boys helped the builders out by planting 20,000 trees in the estate’s surrounding farmland and installing a bee farm.
One confused viewer tweeted: “I’ve nothing against Sarah Beeny and her family, I’m sure they’re lovely, but do we really need another program showing wealthy people’s decadent lifestyle when there are so many struggling to make ends meet with rising fuel costs, job uncertainty etc?”
The disapproval didn’t stop there.
The oasis they are building will have five bedrooms and five bathrooms and will also feature mock busts of their heads.
When talking about using 3-D printers to produce the busts Graham said: “Hopefully we’re still going to look posh enough!”
