But Matt Lucas, 47, is set to trade his presenting duties for a pair of oven gloves as he takes part in the celebrity edition of the show for Stand Up To Cancer, revealing he was ‘forced’ to swap sides in the tent at the last minute when one of the celeb bakers became unavailable.
The comedian will star alongside Mo Farah, 38, Ellie Goulding, 35, and Strictly’s Motsi Mabuse, 40, as they hope to impress the judges with their skills.

The list of celebrity participants also includes comedian and creator of Taskmaster Alex Horne, TV presenter Emma Willis, singer-songwriter Example and choirmaster Gareth Malone.
Radio DJ Annie Mac, actor and author Ben Miller, The Inbetweeners star Blake Harrison, and TV and radio presenter Clara Amfo are also amongst the ranks trying to impress Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith.
Former Coronation Street actress Katherine Kelly, TV presenter Laura Whitmore, comedian Ed Gamble, writer and comedian Mawaan Rizwan, TV star Ruby Wax, TV presenter Sophie Morgan, Friday Night Dinner’s Tracy-Ann Oberman and musician Yung Filly complete the line-up.

In each episode celebrities will battle it out over three rounds – the Signature, the Technical and the Showstopper challenge – in a bid to be crowned Star Baker.
The upcoming series will see Matt switch from presenter to baker in an episode when he fills in for a missing contestant and discovers just what it is like to face the judges himself.
Matt explained: ‘I was forced to bake by my bosses at the last minute when one of the bakers became unavailable.
‘I can’t tell you how happy I was that my humiliation was caught on camera.’

Across five episodes, the celebrities will be doing their bit in aid of Stand Up To Cancer, a joint national fundraising campaign from Cancer Research UK and Channel 4, launched in 2012.
The Great Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up To Cancer airs later this spring.
