He’s 34, I’m 33.
His friend had made a quick buck betting on the outcome of football games and my husband thought he could do the same.
Instead, he spent half of our house deposit.
Then he claimed it was my fault. Apparently I was putting pressure on him to save a ‘ridiculous’ amount every month.

We downloaded Gamblock and Gamstop, which blocked all his regular sites.
He also attended meetings with Gamblers Anonymous. Meeting other people like him meant he quickly built up a support network that helped whenever he was having a wobble.
