MARILYN Monroe’s final hours have been exposed in unheard tapes as wild conspiracy theories continue to flourish – decades after her death.
A new Netflix documentary The Mystery of Marilyn Monroe: The Unheard Tapes delves into her cause of death and her relationship with the Kennedys.

The documentary, directed by Emma Cooper, will be released on the streaming site on April 27.
Audiotapes that have apparently never been heard before will be shared in the doc.
The show is set to feature exclusive interviews with those who were part of Monroe’s life at the time of her death and before.
Its YouTube description reads: “Hollywood icon Marilyn Monroe’s tragic death spawned conspiracies and rumors for decades, often overshadowing her talent and shrewdness.
“By piecing together her final weeks, days, and hours through previously unheard recordings of those who knew her best, the film illuminates more of her glamorous, complicated life, and offers a new perspective on that fateful night.
Monroe, of Los Angeles, died of “probable suicide” in August 1962 but a sense of mystery has always shrouded the tragic star.
The doc looks at who the actress was with during her final moments and the extent of the Kennedys’ involvement.
Monroe allegedly had romantic links with JFK and his younger brother Robert.
But, both men refused to commit to Marilyn as both were married with children.

In the days leading up to her death, sources report that Monroe told confidants that she was pregnant with one of the Kennedy’s babies, but she was forced to “lose the baby.”
In the days leading up to her death, Monroe tried tirelessly to get hold of Bobby Kennedy, telling friends and confidants that they were going to be married, Vanity Fair revealed.
However, she also told the columnist and writer Sidney Skolsky that she was in a relationship with Bobby’s brother John and that the two were intimate on several occasions.
Some historians, and friends of Monroe, even allege that Monroe was privy to government secrets that made her a threat to the Kennedy family.
‘CLOSE RELATIONSHIP’
Robert Kennedy claimed to have been nowhere near Monroe’s home on the day she died but witnesses have placed him at her property before she passed.
JFK was assassinated in November 1963 and years later, Robert Kennedy was also assassinated in June 1968.
In the week leading up to her death, Monroe spent a lot of time making phone calls to old friends and acquittances.
She called her gynecologist Dr. Leon Krohn to ask if he was angry with her about a previous miscarriage.
She also phoned her friend, real-estate agent Arthur James, to discuss her possible impregnation by one of the Kennedys.
The day before her death, she called her long-time friend Anne Karger to say she was going to marry Bobby Kennedy.
FINAL CALLS
She also called friends in Washington to try and reach Bobby, including Robert Slatzer and Kennedys’ brother-in-law Peter Lawford.
On the morning of her death, she called actress Jeanne Carmen, who told Vanity Fair, that Monroe sounded distressed.
“She said some woman had been calling all night, harassing her and calling her names,” Carmen said.
“The voice sounded familiar, but she couldn’t put a name to it. The anonymous caller had said words to the effect ‘Leave Bobby alone, you tramp. Leave Bobby alone.'”
Carmen also said that Monroe asked for sleeping pills and wine, but Carmen declined her request.
Later the day of her death, a friend, Agnes Flanagan showed up at Monroe’s home.
At 4.30pm, Monroe phoned her psychiatrist who came to her home until 7.00pm.
Her psychiatrist told LA suicide watch professionals that he had “had calls that morning and by the time I saw her she was in a rage.
She had recently had sexual relationships with “extremely important men in government…at the highest level”, the doctor claimed.
Monroe allegedly said that she was supposed to see one of those men that night, and was angry that the plans fell through.
At 9.30pm, Monroe called her hairdresser Sydney Guilaroff.
Guilaroff told Vanity Fair that “Marilyn telephoned me in despair. She rambled on about being surrounded by danger, about betrayals by ‘men in high places,’ about clandestine love affairs.”
CONSPIRACY THEORIES FLOURISH
Sounding frantic, she told Guilaroff that Robert Kennedy had been at the house that very day, “threatening me, yelling at me.”
Between 9.30 and 10pm, Monroe talked to screenwriter Jose Bolanos, who he claims, learned something about Monroe that “will one day shock the whole world.”
He has never shared what that information is.
Sometime before midnight that evening, Monroe died by apparent suicide.
Investigators for the Los Angeles district attorney reviewed Monroe’s cause of death in the 1980s but found themselves blocked by the FBI.
Decades later, her official cause of death still hasn’t been established, allowing conspiracy theories to flourish.
One wild theory includes the notion that she was killed by the FBI at the instruction of the Kennedys.
Conspiracy theorists allege this was either to hide their affairs, or cover up secret government secrets that they may have shared with Monroe.
The book Dirty Secrets: UFO Conspiracies and the Mysterious Death of Marilyn Monroe claims the actress was murdered because she was deemed a national security threat.
Monroe was said to be murdered by the US government “because of her being told Government secrets … One of them being about crashed UFOs and strange dead bodies held at military bases,” said author Nick Redfern, as reported by WFMZ-TV.
Other rumors claim that the actress was killed by the mafia.
