Popular music festival Spilt Milk has announced its impressive line-up of local and international artists, including four-time ARIA Award winner Genesis Owusu and English indie rock favourites The Wombats.

The one-day festival will travel to Canberra, Ballarat and – for the first time – the Gold Coast this summer, with other must-see acts including DJ Flume, British grime artist Stormzy and Aussie rapper Mallrat.

Famous for selling out within minutes, this year’s festival will feature popular dance producer Paul Fisher, better known mononymously as FISHER.

The band has had a near-20-year career, and recently scored an Australian hit with Fix Yourself, Not the World.

Also making their first appearance at the festival will be Stormzy, whose real name is Michael Ebenezer Kwadjo Omari Owuo Jr.

The talented rapper has recently collaborated with Ed Sheeran and Little Simz.

Launched in 2016, Spilt Milk has not been free of controversy in the years since.

In 2017, a young woman claimed she was forced to smuggle tampons into the festival after security told her the sanitary products were banned.

A year later, festival-goers shared their outrage after rapper YG stopped mid-act and started chanting ‘show your t***ies’, during Spilt Milk in Canberra.

Spilt Milk will take place in Canberra on Saturday, November 26; Ballarat on Saturday, December 3; and on the Gold Coast on Sunday, December 4. Pre-sale tickets can be found here
