While Kanye, whose name has legally been changed to “Ye,” is often cryptic in his lyrics, this time, he didn’t come to play any games.
The song, “Eazy,” begins by talking about difficulties that Ye has overcome in his life, but soon, turns to reference his soon-to-be-ex-wife, Kim Kardashian’s new boyfriend, Pete Davidson.
“God saved me from that crash
Just so I can beat Pete Davidson’s a** (who?)”
The lyrics refer to “that crash,” which happened in 2002 when Ye was in a terrible car accident that nearly killed him.

On March 2, 2022, Kanye dropped a music video for “Eazy,” which shows him burying a claymation version of Davidson alive.
While the video is chilling by itself, the last few screens of the video are especially pointed and creepy.
Ye ends with a black background, with white hand lettering that reads “EVERYONE LIVED HAPPILY EVER AFTER.”
